Why choose the FDM AWD Short Shift Kit? Ours is the only complete bolt-on kit available on the market today. Unlike other kits out there, there is no cutting, grinding, or welding required for installation. Just remove the original shift lever and forward rod, bolt in the new FDM SSK, adjust, and you’re done!
Porsche factory OEM shift levers use a “ball and cup” connection that will age and degrade over time, leading to eventual failure, leaving you stranded with no ability to shift gears. The FD Motorsports AWD SSK replaces the “ball and cup” connection at the base of the shift lever with a stainless steel bolt and stainless steel rod end which will NOT wear out and fail, as well as a new front cup, keeping you on the road for years and years to come.
